Loring Park was the location of the first Twin Cities GLBT march held 37 years ago in June 1972. That march evolved into the Twin Cities Pride Festival which is still held in Loring Park with over 450 booths/exhibitors and over 300,000 in attendence over the Sat-Sun festival. Red Ribbon Ride - Private Event

The Believers will entertain approximately 400 riders and crew who are participating in the sixth annual Red Ribbon Ride. This four day, nearly 300 mile bike ride, challenges the body and opens the heart as this dedicated group once again endeavors to raise over a half million dollars to benefit seven Minnesota-based AIDS service organizations.
